Fairhurst is seeking a Structural / Civil Technical Manager to lead technical delivery across structural and civil engineering for temporary sports events in the UK and overseas. You will oversee design quality, coordinate multi-disciplinary inputs, and support development of engineering staff under the Director's guidance.

You will manage client relationships, ensure regulatory compliance, and contribute to successful bids, project delivery, and knowledge transfer within a dynamic events

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (MEng/BEng or equivalent).
• Chartered status (CEng, MICE or equivalent).
• Significant experience in civil and structural engineering, including temporary works design / review and coordination.
• Experience delivering infrastructure or development multidisciplinary projects.
• Excellent communication, presentation and organisational skills.
• Strong knowledge of UK design standards and regulatory frameworks.

Responsabilités

• Prepare proposals, manage deliverables, budgets and invoicing.
• Lead, coordinate, and review structural and civil outputs with accuracy and compliance.
• Ensure outputs meet regulatory requirements and Fairhurst quality standards.
• Initiate and lead client meetings, workshops and project reviews.
