Job summary

Alchem Partners are recruiting a Technical Manager for a family-owned, innovative chemical group. You will lead all technical aspects of production and product development in R&D, driving excellence and implementing solutions to improve efficiency and quality.

The role combines technical leadership with commercial influence, requiring cross-functional collaboration across production, R&D, and commercial teams. A strong degree in chemistry and senior leadership experience are essential.

Qualifications

Degree in Chemistry or related scientific subject.
Experience leading technical projects and cross-functional teams.
Experience in coatings industry is a plus.
Experience in chemical manufacturing or R&D.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; able to influence stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Lead and oversee all technical aspects of production processes and product development within R&D.
Drive technical excellence and implement innovations to improve efficiency and product quality.
Develop strategies that drive disruptive technologies and future revenue streams.
