Job summary

Chroma Recruitment is seeking a Technical Manager to join a specialist technology and engineering group as a core member of the Executive Leadership Team. You will lead the group’s technology and innovation strategy, working closely with the CEO and senior leaders across the group.

You will provide oversight across R&D, establish standardised processes and design principles, and drive product compliance, engineering tool harmonisation and long‑term technology direction across the Group.

Qualifications

• Experience leading multi-disciplinary R&D teams across complex groups.
• Proven ability to implement consistent R&D processes and methodologies.
• Strong understanding of product design, development and regulatory considerations.

Responsibilities

Job description

A specialist technology and engineering group are looking for a Technical Manager to join them as a core member of their Executive Leadership Team.

As Technical Manager, you'll lead the Group's technology and innovation strategy, working closely with the CEO and senior leadership team across different companies in the group.

You'll provide oversight across R&D teams, establish standardised processes and design principles, and drive product compliance, engineering tool harmonisation and long-term technology strategy across the Group.

A product design background would be very beneficial for this role to drive development of commercially successful physical products.
