Job summary

You’ll collaborate with caseworkers, occupational therapists and other council services to deliver integrated support, while upholding construction standards and risk management.

Qualifications

• Strong construction, building, surveying, housing or property expertise.
• Experience of leading, supporting and developing technical staff.
• Strong knowledge of construction standards, compliance and health and safety.
• Experience of managing contractors, quality and performance.
• Excellent judgement, communication and partnership-working skills.
• A commitment to inclusive leadership, excellent customer service and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the technical team across home adaptations.
• Oversee technical standards, contractor performance and quality assurance.
• Support budget delivery and value for money in adaptations.
• Collaborate with caseworkers, occupational therapists and housing colleagues.
