Skilled Careers is assisting with the recruitment of a Technical Manager for a major residential development in South Wimbledon, London. The role leads the technical delivery from design to completion, ensuring regulatory compliance, Build Safety Act adherence, and effective coordination of architects, consultants and site teams.

The successful candidate will have strong residential delivery experience, knowledge of HRBs, and a track record of managing external design teams.

Qualifications

• Experience as Technical Manager or Senior Technical Coordinator in residential development.
• Strong knowledge of reinforced concrete frame construction.
• Experience delivering medium to high-rise residential developments.
• Understanding of HRBs and Building Safety requirements.
• Experience managing external consultants and multidisciplinary design teams.
• Knowledge of Building Regulations, NHBC standards, and statutory approvals.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Are you a Technical Manager looking for the opportunity to take ownership of a major residential development.

We are working with a well-established residential developer seeking an experienced Technical Manager to join the business and lead the technical delivery of a flagship reinforced concrete frame development. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with strong residential experience and a solid understanding of High-Risk Buildings (HRBs), Building Safety legislation, and multi-disciplinary design management.

The Role

Reporting into the Head of Technical, you will take responsibility for managing the design and technical process from design to completion, ensuring all technical, regulatory, and safety requirements are achieved.

Key responsibilities include:
