Job summary

Maxwell Bond partnered with a Manchester technology organisation specialising in data-driven insights and digital platforms, who are looking for an experienced Technical Lead to join their engineering team on a permanent basis.

You’ll lead a small team delivering web applications, dashboards and APIs that support large-scale market research data collection, participant engagement and client integrations, while providing hands-on direction and people leadership.

Qualifications

• Experience with modern web and backend systems (PHP/Laravel, JS/TS, AWS serverless).
• Strong delivery & architecture skills; ability to drive scalability and performance.
• Experience mentoring engineers and developing as a people leader; interest in automation/AI tooling.

Responsibilities

• Own delivery for your team, managing scope, sequencing and technical priorities.
• Shape evolution of web applications and APIs, contributing to architecture and best practices.
• Lead and develop a small team, providing 1:1s, feedback and career development while supporting hiring.
