BAM UK & Ireland is seeking a Technical Lead - Temporary Works to provide technical leadership across the business and drive excellence in temporary works engineering.

Based at any UK & Ireland office, you will act as the technical authority for temporary works design, shape standards, lead governance and audits, develop capability and champion innovation across projects and design teams.

Qualifications

• Chartered Engineer with ICE/IStructE or equivalent.
• Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• Extensive experience in temporary works design, assurance and governance.
• Strong knowledge of BS 5975, CDM Regulations and temporary works management.
• Experience acting as technical authority on complex projects.
• Proven leadership in engineering teams.
• Experience delivering audits, assurance reviews and competency assessments.
• Passion for technical excellence, innovation and developing people.

Responsabilités

• Act as BAM UK & Ireland's technical authority for temporary works design.
• Provide expert guidance and assurance on complex engineering challenges.
• Lead technical governance, audits and design assurance activities.
• Develop and maintain temporary works standards and procedures.
• Drive engineering excellence, quality and continuous improvement.
• Lead competency, training and professional development programmes.
• Support recruitment, succession planning and capability development.
• Oversee external design partners' technical performance and assurance.
• Champion innovation and digital engineering in temporary works delivery.
