Job summary

Toshiba Global Commerce Solutions in the UK & Ireland seeks a Technical Specialist to lead complex retail technology projects, bridging solution design and delivery. You will collaborate with architects, analysts and project managers to ensure successful deployments and lasting value for customers.

The role combines hands-on technical work with customer engagement and leadership, delivering enterprise software and cloud-enabled solutions across UK and Ireland.

Qualifications

• Experience in retail technology or POS or payment solutions is advantageous.
• Experience in software implementation, technical consulting or Professional Services environments.
• A track record of delivering enterprise software, SaaS or retail technology solutions.
• Strong technical knowledge across endpoint management, cloud technologies and integrations.
• Experience with APIs, databases and modern deployment practices.
• Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to engage confidently with both technical and non-technical audiences.

Responsibilities

• Lead the technical delivery of customer implementation projects.
• Translate business requirements and solution designs into practical technical solutions.
• Run technical workshops and discovery sessions with customers and stakeholders.
• Act as the technical lead and main point of contact throughout project delivery.
• Define integration, deployment, configuration and data migration approaches.
• Support solution scoping, estimation and SOW development.
• Identify technical risks and recommend solutions to keep projects on track.
• Provide technical guidance and mentoring to project team members.
• Support testing, deployment, go-live and post-implementation activities.
• Collaborate with Product, Support and Architecture teams to continuously improve delivery standards.
