Version 1 is seeking a highly skilled Technical Lead with 10+ years in software development and 3+ years in leadership. You will design and implement scalable architectures for React/Node.js applications running on AWS, and mentor the team to deliver robust software products.

The role requires hands-on leadership, architectural design, and collaboration with project managers and stakeholders to ensure successful delivery. Hybrid work model with business travel included.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science or related field.
• 10+ years of software development, with 3+ years in technical leadership.
• Strong Node.js, Express.js and AWS cloud experience.
• Front-end experience with React or similar technologies.
• Experience with microservices and cloud-native apps.
• Knowledge of SQL/NoSQL databases and data modeling.
• Excellent problem-solving and leadership skills.
• Familiarity with DevOps tools and practices (Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins).

Responsibilities

• Architect high-quality software architectures and technical solutions.
• Ensure scalable, maintainable, and secure designs.
• Evaluate tools and processes to ensure quality and velocity.
• Lead and mentor development teams on architectural initiatives.
• Provide technical guidance and perform code reviews.
• Collaborate with PMs, stakeholders and architects for delivery.
• Define project scope, goals, and deliverables.
• Identify and mitigate technical risks and issues.
• Promote continuous improvement and innovation in the team.
• Implement best practices for development, testing and deployment.
