Job summary

Forward Role Recruitment seeks a hands-on Technical Lead to balance software engineering, cloud infrastructure, and architecture. You will mentor engineers while staying close to the code, shaping technology strategy during a major digital transformation.

The role combines TypeScript/Node.js development with AWS/DevOps ownership, leading across critical platforms, CI/CD, automation, and platform reliability, while remaining technically active.

Qualifications

• Strong AWS experience.
• Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines and cloud infrastructure.
• Terraform, Infrastructure as Code, and modern DevOps practices.
• Ability to operate across software engineering and DevOps.
• Experience mentoring engineers and providing technical leadership.
• Experience with software architecture, APIs, integrations, and modern engineering practices.
• Background as a Technical Lead or senior engineer stepping up.

Responsibilities

• Building and improving internal applications using TypeScript and Node.js.
• Owning AWS infrastructure and cloud environments.
• Developing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
• Driving Infrastructure as Code and automation initiatives.
• Improving reliability, performance, security, and observability.
• Designing and maintaining integrations between business-critical systems.
• Mentoring software engineers and helping raise engineering standards.
• Working closely with stakeholders to deliver scalable technical solutions.
• Remaining actively involved in coding, code reviews, and technical problem-solving.
