Job summary

Bupa seeks a Technical Lead to provide clear technical direction across clinical and operational platforms, translating patient needs into safe, scalable solutions. You’ll lead engineers and collaborate with clinicians, product managers and service owners to protect continuity of care.

You’ll own end-to-end interoperability (HL7 v2, FHIR, DICOM) and oversee delivery of critical platforms such as PAS, EMR and PACS, coordinating internal teams and external suppliers while prioritising clinical

• Ability to translate patient healthcare needs into safe, scalable technical solutions.
• Experience leading delivery in healthcare/product environments with governance.
• Strong leadership of mixed cross-functional teams in regulated settings.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership across clinical and operational systems.
• Lead delivery and optimise clinically critical platforms (PAS, EMR, PACS).
• Own end-to-end interoperability: design, mapping, testing, deployment and monitoring (HL7 v2, FHIR, DICOM).
• Coordinate SMEs, suppliers and service teams across projects of varying scope.
• Partner with clinicians, product managers and operation leads to align priorities with safety and governance.
