Netcompany is seeking a Tech Lead to drive technical direction and hands-on delivery across multiple services. You will define architecture, lead cross-functional teams, and ensure quality through robust QA and reviews.

The role involves working with Python, TypeScript, React, Terraform and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure), while mentoring engineers and delivering high-impact digital services for UK clients. Hybrid working is available.

Qualifications

• Experience leading technical teams and defining technical strategy and architecture across multiple services.
• Full-stack or backend background with Python and TypeScript; cloud infra experience with AWS or Azure and IaC with Terraform.
• Experience delivering UK Government digital services with knowledge of the GDS/NHS Service Standard.
• Strong collaborative leadership across Product, UCD and Delivery.
• Ability to balance technical, user and business needs when making decisions.
• Champions user-centred ways of working with prioritized research and design.
• Excellent communication and ability to present to non-technical audiences.
• Proven track record of driving QA, code reviews, and process optimization.
• Experience leading projects end-to-end with stakeholder management.
• Full lifecycle delivery from analysis to QA.
• Mentoring developers and fostering high-performing team culture.
• Ambitious to excel in your career.
• Desirable: Experience delivering digital services in multidisciplinary product teams.
• Knowledge of accessibility and WCAG standards.
• Experience coaching engineers and building collaborative team cultures.
