Netcompany, a leading technology consultancy in the UK, is seeking a Technical Lead with strong Python, AWS, and Terraform experience to guide multiple services from design to delivery.

You will mentor engineers, shape technical strategy, and ensure quality across projects, including hands-on coding and collaboration with cross-functional teams.

The role offers hybrid working and opportunities to work across public and private sectors.

Qualifications

• Full life cycle delivery experience, from analysis and design through to implementation and QA.
• Experience leading technical teams and defining technical strategy.
• Mentoring and coaching developers to build high-performing teams.
• Experience delivering digital services in multidisciplinary product teams.
• Knowledge of accessibility and inclusive design (WCAG standards).
• Willingness to travel to client sites anywhere in the UK and must have the right to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Drive your team technically to deliver high-quality code and support the full software development lifecycle, including hands-on coding.
• Define technical strategy and architecture across multiple services.
• Translate customer requirements into technical designs and oversee delivery to clients.
• Collaborate with Product, UCD and Delivery teams to balance technical, user, and business needs.
