Job summary

Netcompany is seeking a Tech Lead to drive architecture and hands-on delivery across multiple services. You will lead a team to deliver high-quality code, and actively participate in design, development, testing, and deployments.

You’ll work on a programme that uses Python, TypeScript, React, Terraform, and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure), with hybrid working and travel to client sites across the UK as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience leading technical teams and defining architecture for multiple services.
• Background in Python and TypeScript with cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure) and Terraform.
• Experience delivering UK Government digital services and knowledge of the GDS/NHS Service Standard.
• Strong cross-functional collaboration across Product, UCD, and Delivery.
• Ability to balance technical, user, and business needs; strong communication and leadership.

Responsibilities

• Define technical strategy and architecture across multiple services.
• Lead the full life cycle of software development from design to QA.
• Mentor and coach developers, fostering high-performing teams.
• Collaborate with Product, UCD, and Delivery to ensure high quality outcomes.
