Job summary

QuantumLoop Technologies Ltd is seeking a Technical Lead with 8+ years of full-stack engineering experience (backend heavy) to guide architecture, development, and AI initiatives. You will mentor distributed teams, translate product vision into technical execution, and drive LLM orchestration, STT/TTS, and voice AI capabilities on a production platform.

You will work closely with the Co-Founder to set direction, ensure scalable backend systems, and uphold security and reliability while operating

Qualifications

• 8+ years of software engineering with a backend focus.
• Proven expertise in Node.js, TypeScript, React, Next.js and MySQL.
• Experience designing and scaling distributed systems and microservices.
• Strong knowledge of AI/ML concepts including model integration and LLM deployment.
• Hands-on experience with STT and TTS technologies (e.g., Deepgram, ElevenLabs, Whisper).
• Deep knowledge of Azure cloud services and cost management.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes and CI/CD pipelines.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills; comfortable with remote work.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and implementation of scalable backend systems using Node.js, TypeScript and microservice architectures.
• Define and enforce coding standards, design principles and architecture guidelines across the engineering team.
• Ensure platform scalability, reliability and security through robust design and proactive system monitoring.
• Architect end-to-end AI-powered features from prototype to production.
• Mentor engineers and shape culture, flagging risks and guiding decisions at the highest level.
• Collaborate with PMs, BAs and designers to ensure timely, feasible delivery.
