Job summary

QuantumLoopAI is hiring a Quality Assurance Engineer to join our growing engineering team in the UK. This hands-on role combines automation and manual testing to ensure every feature and release meets our quality bar before production.

You will define test strategies, build automated suites with Selenium and BDD frameworks, and own QA across the full software delivery lifecycle. You will work closely with developers, product owners and business analysts in a fast-paced agile environment, taking

Qualifications

• 2-5 years in QA or software testing, covering both manual and automated testing.
• Hands-on automation experience with Selenium.
• Experience with BDD frameworks such as Cucumber or SpecFlow.
• Strong understanding of UI, API, integration and unit testing.

Responsibilities

• Create test strategies, plans and cases and execute them to ensure software meets quality standards.
• Design, build and maintain automated tests using Selenium and BDD frameworks.
• Perform manual testing across functional, browser compatibility, device, smoke, integration and regression scenarios.
• Review user stories, acceptance criteria, code and tests to ensure completeness and quality.
• Participate in sprint ceremonies and contribute to planning and reviews.
• Support rollout and post-release testing to maintain quality across environments.
• Document test reports and release notes and contribute to QA tooling improvements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure delivery quality.
• Stay current with QA tools and testing approaches and share recommendations.
