Job summary

The Financial Conduct Authority, within the Data, Technology and Innovation division, is seeking a software professional to shape digital products using Java and Angular. You will work closely with Product Owners and Architects to deliver impactful features while upholding engineering excellence.

You will mentor junior colleagues, promote best practices, and contribute to reliable services that support critical platforms during office hours.

The Data, Technology and Innovation (DTI) division enables the FCA to be a digital-first, data-led smart regulator by delivering a secure, agile, and cost-effective technology and data ecosystem that drives better decisions, transparency, and operational efficiency.

Sitting within DTI, the Digital Delivery Hub digitally transforms the FCA’s regulatory services to efficiently meet the needs of all stakeholders.

Role responsibilities

• Lead by example in a working technical role, shaping the direction of the team while developing high-quality digital products using Java and Angular
• Help deliver innovative features and solutions by working closely with Product Owners and Architects to turn business requirements into impactful outcomes
