Job summary

Financial Conduct Authority is seeking a Technical Lead for the Data Technology and Innovation division, working in the Digital Delivery Hub. The role focuses on delivering high-quality digital products using Java and Angular, with leadership responsibilities across teams.

You will mentor colleagues, promote engineering best practices, and collaborate with Product Owners and Architects to drive meaningful outcomes, while ensuring reliable services and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Proven experience with Kotlin/Java, JavaScript/TypeScript and Angular in delivery of digital products.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor teams and manage stakeholders across levels.
• Experience establishing engineering best practices and implementing them across multiple teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead a technical team delivering digital products using Java and Angular.
• Collaborate with Product Owners and Architects to translate requirements into outcomes.
• Promote engineering excellence with consistent processes and quality checks.
