Job summary

Balfour Beatty – Regional Civils is seeking a Technical Head of Pre-Construction to lead and grow its presence in the Internal Drainage Board market. You will blend technical pre-construction leadership with strong customer relationships and strategic market development across England.

You will drive early contractor involvement, shape opportunities and ensure solutions are buildable, commercially viable and aligned with customer requirements.

Qualifications

• Experience in pre-construction leadership and technical delivery.
• Strong relationships with IDBs, Environment Agency, consultants and stakeholders.
• Knowledge of FCERM, pumping stations and water industry.

Responsibilities

• Lead development of IDB capability and pipeline across Regional Civils.
• Build long-term relationships with IDBs, agencies and industry partners.
• Coordinate technical, design, commercial, planning and estimating input into opportunities.
• Provide technical leadership on pumping stations, civils and MEICA integration.
