Job summary

RGB Recruitment is seeking a Technical Engineer in Devon to support live construction schemes across the Southwest. The role focuses on technical delivery, quality assurance, and compliance with design criteria and client requirements.

The successful candidate will coordinate temporary works, oversee QA/QC, and work with designers and site teams to resolve technical queries while developing future schemes and pre-construction activities.

Qualifications

• Experience on complex construction or infrastructure projects requiring quality and engineering judgement.
• Knowledge of temporary works, QA/QC and technical compliance.
• SMSTS, CSCS and construction qualifications desirable.
• Full driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical engineering support across live construction schemes.
• Manage and coordinate temporary works requirements.
• Ensure works meet design criteria, specifications and client requirements.
• Carry out QA/QC checks and manage inspections and testing.
• Identify and manage non-conformances and support site teams.
