Job summary

AMA Admin is seeking a technically focused Technical Engineer to join the team in Manchester. The role centers on engineering support, structural calculations and delivering technical solutions for building envelope systems while developing customer relationships.

You will work with engineers, architects, contractors and clients, providing guidance on composite floors, roof decking and façade solutions. Travel across the UK for site visits will be involved as required.

Qualifications

• Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Interpret wind loading regulations for compliant designs.
• Provide engineering guidance on building envelope components.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support on composite floors, roof decking and envelope systems.
• Prepare structural estimations, calculations and technical proposals.
• Interpret drawings, specs and project requirements.
• Carry out manual structural calculations when required.
• Engage with engineers, architects, contractors and clients throughout projects.
