Job summary

SLR Consulting is seeking a Technical Director in the mine waste team to lead tailings and mine waste design from concept through detailed design and construction. You will act as Engineer of Record and manage projects across the EU and beyond, collaborating with senior professionals and developing business for the team.

Qualifications

• Extensive depth of experience in tailings and mine waste, preferably in consulting.
• Honours degree in Civil or Mining Engineering, or MSc in related subject.
• Registered Chartered or eligible to register as Professional Engineer.

Responsibilities

• Lead design of tailings and mine waste facilities from concept to detailed design.
• Act as Engineer of Record for tailings facilities.
• Lead multi-disciplinary design teams and manage projects in the EU and globally.
