Job summary

Ajax Systems, a leading security tech company, seeks a senior manager to lead field-based technical teams in the UK and to implement a comprehensive training program for the UK market. You will provide product feedback, help shape roadmaps, and collaborate with distributors and installers to promote Ajax solutions.

The role requires extensive experience in alarm and video surveillance systems, strong communication skills, and willingness to travel up to half the time.

Qualifications

• 5+ years leading field-based technical teams.
• Industry background in alarm systems, video surveillance, security, or related fields.
• Strong working knowledge of CCTV, intrusion systems, and fire alarm systems.
• Proven hands-on experience in designing and installing video surveillance, fire alarm, or other security systems.
• Experience delivering offline and online technical training to technical audiences.
• Excellent presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Flexible and willing to travel up to 50% of the time.

• Teach technical staff at Ajax Systems distributors and dealers to increase their knowledge of products and technology.
• Test product features and write technical documentation for new products or solutions, and collaborate with the rest of the team.
• Analyze customer needs in collaboration with sales departments.
• Create vision, provide direction from own perspective.
• Develop training materials/content for the Technical Sales Training Team.
• Travel around 50% of time.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience leading field-based technical teams, ideally in a customer-facing or partner ecosystem environment
• Industry background in alarm systems, video surveillance, security, telecommunications, or closely related fields
• Strong working knowledge of CCTV, intrusion systems, and fire alarm systems
• Proven hands-on experience in designing and installing video surveillance, fire alarm, or other security systems
• Experience delivering offline and online technical training to technical audiences
• Excellent presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Flexible and willing to travel for business trips, trade shows, and other professional events
• Self-motivated and independent, with an outgoing personality and a proactive approach to work
