AECOM in Adelaide is seeking an experienced Technical Director - Design Manager to lead integrated teams across Australia and the UK, shaping design delivery on a major defence infrastructure programme.

You will apply NSQEP capability, bring technical leadership in process engineering and radiological waste management, and mentor engineers to sustain safety-critical outcomes across the project. Relocation support is available for suitably qualified candidates.

Qualifications

• 25+ years delivering complex defence or regulated projects.
• Chartered status or equivalent professional membership.
• NSQEP experience is highly regarded.
• Strong design management and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead integrated design teams across Australia and the UK.
• Provide technical leadership across complex process engineering systems, incl. radiological waste management.
• Guide design integration across multiple disciplines and manage project risks.
• Mentor engineers and NSQEP capability across the programme.
