Job summary

AtkinsRéalis is seeking a Technical Director for Clean Water Process in the UK. You will lead technical delivery across national projects, drive strategy, and contribute to business growth while managing senior stakeholders and cross‑functional teams.

The role requires Chartered status, deep water treatment knowledge, and proven leadership in complex programmes within the UK market. Hybrid working and UK-wide travel are expected.

Qualifications

Degree in Chemical Engineering or equivalent.
Chartered Engineer (IChemE or CIWEM).
Experience in senior technical leadership of complex projects.
UK water market experience essential.
Knowledge of UK safety, CDM regulations.

Responsibilities

Provide Technical Leadership within the national D&T practice.
Influence Practice-wide initiatives and improve internal processes.
Serve as a recognised expert in Clean Water Process Engineering.
Represent AtkinsRéalis’ Clean Water Process engineering to clients.
Oversee technical input into bid proposals and delivery strategy.
Grow and manage the Clean Water Process engineering capability.
Identify risks and opportunities early and advise senior leadership.
Ensure safe delivery and alignment with client objectives.
