Sweco Building Control in London seeks a Technical Director to lead large-scale, complex projects across healthcare, education and high-rise residential sectors. You will drive bids, shape strategy, and mentor senior engineers within a collaborative, flexible, hybrid environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in a similar role.
• RBI registered with a proven track record within Building Control.
• MRICS, MCABE, MCIOB membership or equivalent.
• The ability to influence and mentor.
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.

Responsibilities

• Lead on large-scale, complex projects including healthcare, education and commercial high-rise residential.
• Ensure prospects, proposals and tenders are submitted in accordance with Sweco processes.
• Help develop and monitor the technical team members by sharing experience and knowledge.
• Take responsibility for contractual liability in the bids submitted.
• Attend and contribute to Board/Director meetings with alignment to strategy.
