Uptime Institute is expanding its Uptime Education curriculum and seeks a Technical Developer to design, develop, and enhance training materials, qualifications, and programs within its framework for data centre and network cabling professionals.
You will collaborate with subject matter experts, research industry trends, and translate complex technical concepts into engaging content, while contributing to program evolution, quality assurance, and global delivery across time zones.
The Technical Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, and enhancing training materials, qualifications, and programs within Uptime Education's framework. This role demands a deep understanding of data centre and network cabling technologies, a passion for continuous improvement, and the creativity to translate complex technical concepts into engaging, effective training content.
Strong ability and confidence to improve all aspects of technical information across program content. Creative skillset with the ability to interpret technical requirements and design effective training solutions. Strong appreciation of continuous improvement and through-life development of training products. Highly technically competent within the data centre industry. Demonstrable experience in the data centre environment (operations, design, engineering, cabling, or related fields). High degree of independent drive, initiative, and self-motivation. Inquisitive and analytical mindset with the ability to identify areas requiring investigation and conduct technical research. Exceptional organisational skills and attention to detail. Flexible and adaptable approach to workload and evolving project needs. Strong computer literacy and openness to learning new software tools and platforms. Personal drive, determination and self-motivation to make a positive impact within the industry. Ability to work alone, as part of a team or to lead a team, interchangeably.
