Key Responsibilities:

1. Structural Design & Analysis: Develop and review structural designs for bespoke installations, ensuring safety, stability, and compliance with regulations.
2. Technical Drawings: Create detailed technical drawings using CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, Bricscad) for fabrication and installation teams.
3. Material Selection: Collaborate with the production team to select appropriate materials for projects, balancing aesthetics, functionality, and cost.
4. Problem-Solving: Provide innovative engineering solutions to achieve complex and creative designs.
5. Collaboration: Work closely with designers, production staff, and project managers to ensure designs align with artistic visions and practical constraints.
6. Site Inspections: Conduct on-site inspections during installation to verify structural integrity and troubleshoot any issues.
7. Compliance: Ensure all designs meet relevant safety standards and building codes.

Requirements:

• Qualifications: Degree in Structural Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience: Proven experience in structural design, technical drawing, and working on creative or event-based projects is a plus.
• Software Proficiency: Strong skills in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, Bricscad) and structural analysis tools.
• Attention to Detail: Ability to produce precise and accurate technical drawings and calculations.
• Communication Skills: Strong ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and explain technical concepts clearly.
• Problem-Solving: Creative and analytical mindset to address unique engineering challenges.
• Knowledge: Experience in design, build, and installation of temporary and demountable structures.
