Job description
We are seeking a Structural Engineer for our rapidly expanding client, based in Warrington and working across the North West. The role involves working from home and supporting a company that operates throughout the UK, specializing in Structural Inspections with a Structural Design team.
The Structural Engineer will be field-based, providing structural design services for various building types using the latest digital technology. Projects include Residential, Commercial, and Historic Buildings. This position is ideal for a passionate engineer comfortable working remotely who aims to develop their career and achieve chartered status with full support from the company.
- Design structural solutions for all types of buildings under the supervision of a Senior Structural Engineer
- Prepare associated AutoCAD structural drawings
- Support Senior Structural Engineers in project delivery
- Assist with site inspections
- Develop innovative ideas and solutions
- Utilize the latest software tools in structural engineering
- Degree in Civil and/or Structural Engineering (1st or higher)
- Proficiency in IT systems
- Basic understanding of building materials and structures including steel, masonry, concrete, and timber
- Experience with industry-standard structural design software such as TEDDS
- Proficiency in AutoCAD
- Passion for new technologies and progressive change
- Valid UK driving license and car ownership
