Job summary

NATS is the UK’s leading air navigation service provider, delivering safety‑critical technology design across enterprise systems. You will own end‑to‑end technical design within the Service Design framework, coordinating with project managers, service operations and enterprise architects to meet safety, reliability and performance goals.

Qualifications

• Degree in an Engineering or IT subject; strong safety‑critical experience preferred.
• Ability to work at SFIA level 6 (Initiate, Influence) in a complex environment.
• Proven leadership, communication and negotiation skills with internal/external stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end technical design for large scale, high‑criticality solutions.
• Review and approve high/low level designs; manage design governance and risk.
• Collaborate with Project Managers, Service Delivery and Enterprise Architects to meet objectives.
