Job summary

Office Angels UK is seeking a technically minded individual to join a growing contractor in the construction sector as a Technical Designer & Estimator. The role centers on producing accurate 2D AutoCAD drawings, supporting tenders, and delivering high-quality technical designs while engaging with customers, architects and contractors.

You will work with design, sales and operations teams to grow the company’s design service, attend design meetings on-site or remotely, and help manage drawings

Qualifications

• Ability to interpret technical and architectural drawings.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Produce accurate 2D AutoCAD drawings and technical detailing.
• Prepare professional drawing packages and submissions for tenders.
• Support project tenders and cost estimates.
• Engage with customers, architects and contractors as a technical contact.
• Attend design meetings both remotely and on-site.
• Maintain documents and drawings through project documentation systems.
