Job summary

Anglian Home Improvements is seeking an experienced CAD Technician for our Norwich head office. You will produce high-quality technical drawings for bespoke residential projects, preparing drawings for Local Authorities, utilities, engineers and Building Control, ensuring designs reflect surveying details and manufacturing parameters.

You will work closely with Surveyors, Structural Engineers, Operations and management to resolve technical queries, maintain progress and deliver drawings to

Qualifications

• Proficient in AutoCAD with ability to produce accurate technical drawings.
• SketchUp experience is desirable but not essential.
• Able to read and interpret engineering drawings confidently.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Highly organised with strong prioritisation and deadlines.
• Clear communication with technical and operations teams.
• Proficient in MS Office and related IT tools.

Responsibilities

• Produce accurate AutoCAD drawings from surveying details and manufacturing parameters.
• Prepare drawings for Local Authorities, utilities, engineers and Building Control.
• Maintain organised workflows and meet KPIs.
• Own technical queries and coordinate with surveying and other teams for timely resolutions.
• Communicate clearly with Surveyors, Engineers, Operations and management.
• Complete tasks within tight deadlines while balancing priorities.
• Record, scan and upload documentation to company IT systems.
