Job summary

Candour is seeking a Technical Delivery Manager to translate business priorities into deliverable work across data and reporting products. You will own backlog quality, plan deliveries, manage dependencies and risks, and drive release readiness with the Data Product Manager and cross-functional teams.

You will balance business value with technical constraints, including architecture, integrations, security, and data governance, while maintaining clarity and transparency across the organisation.

Role overview:

We are working with a global financial services player seeking a Technical Delivery Manager to turn business priorities into well-defined, deliverable work across its data and reporting products. Working with the Data Product Manager and multidisciplinary teams, you will support the product roadmap and take day-to-day ownership of backlog quality, delivery planning, dependencies, risks and release readiness. You will coordinate delivery from discovery through release and live service, keeping work transparent, controlled and focused on outcomes.

You will bring proven experience as a Delivery Manager or in a comparable product delivery role, ideally in a complex organisation. Strong Agile delivery, backlog management and stakeholder skills are essential, alongside the technical understanding to identify constraints and discuss trade-offs across areas such as architecture, integrations, security, data governance and non-functional requirements.

• Proven Delivery Manager or comparable product delivery experience
• Complex-organisation delivery ownership
• Backlog management, epics, user stories and acceptance criteria
• Agile planning, estimation, dependency, risk and issue management
• End-to-end delivery: discovery through release and live service
• Understanding of architecture, integrations, environments, security, data governance and non-functional requirements
• Strong stakeholder management, facilitation and communication skills
• Ability to balance business value, risk, delivery constraints and technical sustainability
• Experience influencing across organisational boundaries and resolving complex dependencies
