Job summary

ISS Facilities Services seeks a Head of Technical Compliance & Assurance to oversee a UK-wide estate of ~800 buildings. The role delivers objective, risk-based assurance of engineering governance, statutory compliance, Safe Systems of Work, dutyholding and competent personnel.

It reports to the Technical Services Director and maintains independence from operations to assure safe service delivery. Key duties include leading the assurance function, developing a risk-based framework, and providing

Qualifications

• Experience leading technical assurance or compliance programs.
• Ability to develop risk-based assurance frameworks across multiple sites.
• Strong understanding of statutory inspections and Safe Systems of Work.

Responsibilities

• Lead the technical assurance function with objective, evidence-based oversight.
• Develop a risk-based assurance framework covering sites, suppliers and activities.
• Define assurance methodologies, evidence standards and closure verification.
