Job summary
Gaming Laboratories International (GLI) is seeking a Technical Compliance Engineer I for our Bangor, North Wales office. This role provides technical consulting to regulators, manufacturers, and engineering staff, reviewing regulatory compliance matters and serving as a conduit between regulators and lab operations.
You will evaluate submissions, perform technical reviews, develop certification disclosures, and maintain knowledge of jurisdictional rules.
Qualifications
- Degree in computer science or related engineering field.
- Strong analytical and communication skills.
- Ability to assess issues and develop solutions.
- Ability to multi-task and work in a team.
- Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service and support to regulators and suppliers.
- Evaluate submission files and determine regulatory concerns.
- Perform reviews and technical evaluations.
- Develop certification report disclosures.
- Maintain regulatory knowledge and jurisdictional profiles.
- Work with Engineering groups on regulatory questions.
- Deliver technical training to customers.
- Track projects using JIRA.
