Job summary
Gaming Laboratories International (GLI) in Bangor, North Wales, is seeking a Technical Compliance Engineer to provide regulatory and technical consulting to regulators, manufacturers, and engineering staff. This role ensures proper evaluation of regulatory submissions and acts as a conduit between regulators and lab testing teams.
The candidate will review technical documentation, stay updated on jurisdictional changes, and help maintain internal procedures.
Qualifications
- Degree in computer science, electrical engineering, computer engineering or equivalent technical backgrounds.
- Formal training, experience, or demonstrated competency may be evaluated and considered acceptable in lieu of the educational requirements.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service/support to regulators and suppliers.
- Conduct evaluations of submission files, identifying regulatory concerns and providing determinations.
- Handling Incoming Review / Critical modifications
- Performing Outgoing Reviews / Technical Evaluations
- Performing Issues/Bugs Evaluations
- Development of Certification Report Disclosures
- Evaluate documentation related to submissions/testing and understand gaming products.
