Technical Compliance Coordinator

Job Description

A growing manufacturing business is searching for a Technical Compliance Coordinator in the greater Maidstone area.

Your Role

While in this position, your duties may include but are not limited to:

1. Communicating with suppliers to gain and review due diligence information, including filing records on relevant platforms internally and for customers.
2. Undertaking and completing the approval process on the customer due diligence platform.
3. Undertaking supplier risk assessments as required.
4. Reporting on the due diligence throughout the supply period.
5. Overseeing the chemical surveillance testing schedule daily relating to supplier arrivals.
6. Handling supplier recalls and activities for traceability.
7. Updating accurate approved supplier lists for internal use and customers.
8. Reviewing and trending supplier environmental data related to Carbon Emissions, Food Waste, Sustainable Farming, and Water certification.

Must Have

• Possession of a degree, ideally in environmental management, food science, or a related science background.
• Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, with additional knowledge of Power BI.
• Familiarity with online sustainability platforms.
• Ability to manage large datasets.
• Excellent stakeholder communication and management skills.
• Strong project management experience.
