Job summary

Bennett and Game Recruitment LTD is seeking a Business Development Engineer for its Manningtree, Essex operation. The role focuses on maintaining and growing customer relationships, and providing technical support for pultruded profiles.

A background in composites engineering or chemistry is advantageous, with an emphasis on communication and business development. The position is office-based, permanent and full-time, offering scope to influence pricing, project costing and market development

Qualifications

• Background in composites engineering or chemistry is advantageous.
• Strong technical understanding and ability to communicate specifications to customers.
• Experience in customer relationship management or technical sales is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and develop relationships with existing customers and identify new opportunities.
• Provide technical support and product specifications for pultruded profiles.
• Liaise with design team on tooling design and support new profile development.
• Assist with product specifications and technical information for profiles.
• Support production planning and delivery of customer requirements.
• Assist with pricing and project costing.
• Support marketing activities and represent the business at exhibitions.
• Prepare written and verbal reports for customers and colleagues.
• Report to Managing Director and contribute to business development.
