InfoSec People Ltd in Newport is seeking a Senior Technical Author to own documentation standards across a complex IT environment, spanning cloud, data centres, end-user computing and operational services.

You'll work with architects, engineers and cybersecurity professionals to produce clear, accessible documentation that supports operational excellence and continuous improvement within a critical infrastructure context.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Technical Author, Technical Writer or Documentation Specialist.
• Experience documenting enterprise IT systems and services.
• Ability to translate technical concepts into user-friendly content.
• Strong stakeholder engagement skills.
• Experience with Microsoft 365 and SharePoint Online.
• Knowledge of Git, GitHub and Azure DevOps.
• Knowledge of Confluence and Markdown.
• Degree in IT, Computer Science or a related discipline.

We're partnering with a leading organisation operating within the UK's critical infrastructure sector to recruit a Senior Technical Author to join a growing Technology Operations team.

This is an opportunity to take ownership of technical documentation standards across a complex enterprise environment spanning cloud platforms, data centres, end‑user computing and operational services.

You'll work closely with architects, engineers, cyber security professionals and senior stakeholders to create clear, engaging and accessible documentation that supports operational excellence.

What You'll Be Doing
