Job summary

Arm is seeking an Automotive Technical Author based at Gaydon to convert hands-on vehicle expertise into clear, accurate documentation for new models.

You will produce 2D/3D manuals, service communications and training modules, collaborating with engineers and product teams to ensure technical accuracy and user-friendly content.

Qualifications

• Hands-on vehicle experience is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of vehicle systems required.
• Ability to translate technical concepts into clear documentation.

Responsibilities

• Create 2D/3D workshop manuals andDiagnostics information for diagnostics and service communications.
• Develop 3D illustrated parts catalogues.
• Produce 2D/3D eLearning modules and owner literature.
• Author 3D Description & Operation and owner literature illustrations.

A Technical Author who can use their strong knowledge of vehicle systems and apply this to creating content for new vehicles?

Do you have hands-on experience working with vehicles and are a quick learner when it comes to software?

Join our friendly team to create technical documentation for a well-known automotive OEM. We’re interested in dynamic, engaging individuals with relevant qualifications and experience in related vehicle technician, master technician, vehicle engineering, electrical, mechanical, diagnostic, body repair or technical documentation fields.

Duties to include:

• 2D/3D Workshop Manual/Process Instructions 3D Electrical Information towards diagnostics Text and illustration-based Service Communications
• 3D Illustrated Parts Catalogues
