Job summary

Falcon Tower Crane Services, part of the Falcon Group, is seeking a full-time Technical Assistant in Shipdham, Norfolk. You will provide technical and administrative support across crane hire and sales, producing technical drawings, loadings, configurations and build sheets while maintaining databases and document control systems.

The role requires strong technical knowledge (Autodesk CAD, Excel, Word, SharePoint), high attention to detail, and the ability to handle multiple tasks with

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a technical, engineering, construction or similarly detailed role.
• Experience using Autodesk 2D/3D CAD.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and SharePoint.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent organisational and time management skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proactive approach with the ability to use initiative and solve problems.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical and administrative support across Falcon's crane hire and sales operations.
• Produce technical drawings, foundation loadings, crane configurations and build sheets.
• Maintain technical databases and document control systems.
• Respond to technical queries from customers and Falcon departments.
• Liaise with crane manufacturers and complete technical checks on colleagues' work.
• Utilise Autodesk 2D/3D CAD and Microsoft Office tools regularly.
