Job summary

Reed Specialist Recruitment in the United Kingdom seeks a Technical Assistant to support the Technical Manager across food safety, quality and supplier management in a fast-paced beverage manufacturing environment.

You will work on HACCP, audits, label reviews and CAPA, with qualifications in HACCP Level 3+ and Internal Auditor. Experience in beverage manufacturing and knowledge of BRCGS and GMP is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in beverage manufacturing (alcoholic and/or non-alcoholic).
• HACCP Level 3+ qualification.
• Internal Auditor qualification.
• Knowledge of BRCGS, GMP and food legislation.
• Strong attention to detail and organisation.

Responsibilities

• Support HACCP, TACCP & VACCP.
• Supplier approval and ingredient compliance.
• Assist internal, customer, and third-party audits.
• Ensure BRCGS, GMP and food safety compliance.
• Review specifications, artwork and labels.
• CAPA investigations and technical documentation.
• Support NPD and continuous improvement projects.
• QA cover when required.

What we're looking for:

• Experience within alcoholic and/or non-alcoholic beverage manufacturing
• HACCP Level 3+ qualification
• Internal Auditor qualification
• Knowledge of BRCGS, GMP, food legislation and beverage labelling requirements
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
