Job summary

GOLDBECK SOLAR seeks a Technical Asset Manager Photovoltaics & BESS (m/f/d) to monitor and manage PV and battery storage assets in our UK operations from Farnborough. You will coordinate service activities, support operational excellence, and ensure long-term performance and availability of projects.

The role requires an engineering background, knowledge of renewable energy systems, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Degree or vocational qualification in Electrical Engineering, Energy Engineering, or a comparable field.
• Initial professional experience in photovoltaics, energy technology, or plant engineering is an advantage. Recent graduates are also encouraged to apply.
• Knowledge of renewable energy systems and data technology is desirable.
• Experience with Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS), monitoring, and fault analysis is a plus.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong communication skills, initiative, teamwork, and a structured, solution-oriented way of working.

Responsibilities

• Monitor, analyze, and manage assigned PV and BESS projects.
• Serve as the primary contact for customers and partners on technical and commercial matters.
• Plan, commission, and coordinate service technicians and external providers.
• Oversee reporting activities and ensure optimal system performance.
• Support project management for retrofitting, maintenance, repair, and repowering projects.
• Configure, commission, and maintain monitoring systems for PV and BESS assets.
