Job summary

Anson McCade Pty seeks an experienced Technical Architect to design end-to-end solutions for large enterprise and public sector programmes in the UK. You will shape requirements, propose architecture approaches, and deliver key artefacts such as high-level designs and roadmaps.

You will lead engineering teams, communicate with senior stakeholders, and support cost estimation and business cases for transformation initiatives. A strong cloud and framework background is essential.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Solution Architect or Senior Technical Architect.
• Strong background in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Experience across enterprise architecture, microservices, or distributed systems.
• Ability to work across the full delivery lifecycle in Agile environments.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Exposure to architecture frameworks (TOGAF, SAFe, UML, ArchiMate) is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Designing end-to-end technical solutions for complex enterprise and public sector programmes.
• Working closely with clients to shape requirements and define architecture approaches.
• Producing key architecture artefacts including high-level designs, technical options, and roadmaps.
• Acting as a technical leader across engineering teams, guiding delivery and resolving architectural challenges.
• Communicating complex technical concepts to senior stakeholders and board-level audiences.
• Supporting cost estimation, planning, and business case development for transformation initiatives.
• Ensuring solutions align with governance, security, and enterprise architecture standards.

Salary: £37,000 - 68,500 per year

Requirements:
