Job summary

La Fosse is seeking a Senior Solution Architect to join a growing architecture function during a major technology transformation programme. You will shape architecture capability, support modernisation, cloud adoption, AI initiatives, and business-critical transformation projects.

Working across a broad remit, you will collaborate with senior business stakeholders, technical teams, product owners and delivery functions to design scalable, secure and commercially effective solutions, ensuring

Qualifications

• Experience in greenfield or low-maturity architecture environments and helping establish architecture practice.
• Strong experience in Solution Architecture within complex enterprise environments.
• Excellent knowledge of Microsoft technologies, cloud services and SaaS platforms.
• Experience delivering applications, integration and cloud architecture solutions.
• Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to engage C-suite and technical teams.
• Experience producing high-level designs and reviewing technical designs.
• Strong understanding of APIs, integration patterns and enterprise application architecture.
• Experience supporting cloud transformation, application modernisation and migration initiatives.
• Exposure to AI technologies, Microsoft AI services or enterprise AI programmes.
• Broad architectural mindset with contribution across solution, enterprise, data and business architecture domains.
• Experience working within TOGAF-aligned or similar architecture frameworks.
• Excellent communication and influencing skills.

Responsibilities

• Design end-to-end technology solutions aligned to business goals and architecture principles.
• Produce high-level solution designs and review low-level technical design.
• Translate business requirements into practical technology solutions.
• Act as the bridge between senior stakeholders and technical delivery teams.
• Contribute to architecture governance, standards, design patterns and best practice.
• Define integration approaches across enterprise applications, SaaS platforms and cloud services.
• Support large-scale transformation and modernisation programmes.
• Evaluate technology options and provide build vs buy recommendations.
• Ensure solutions meet security, scalability, resilience and performance requirements.
• Mentor technical leads and support the development of architecture capability across the organisation.
