Job summary
Glen Callum Associates Ltd is recruiting a Technical Advisor for a world-class lubricant brand servicing automotive sectors across OEM, distributors and workshops. You will be the technical authority, linking Product Development, Sales and Marketing with customers to optimise performance and applications.
The role delivers expert technical support, troubleshooting and training, with travel to customer sites as required. Competitive package includes £48,000 base plus bonus and a company car.
Qualifications
- Strong background in lubricants, oils and additive chemistry.
- Experience across automotive engine/drivetrain tech.
- Ability to provide best-in-class technical support.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management.
Responsibilities
- Deliver expert technical support to internal sales, marketing and external customers.
- Advise on automotive applications aligning product with specifications and applications.
- Investigate technical product issues, diagnosing root causes and recommending solutions.
- Deliver technical presentations, onsite training and customer engagement.
- Act as a trusted technical resource across OEM, distributor and end-user/workshop networks.
- Maintain technical documentation and ensure compliance with industry specifications.
- Collaborate with colleagues across commercial and technical functions to support growth.
