Turn this role into an interview — a resume and cover letter built around what this employer wants.
Mixxos is seeking a Technical Sales Manager in the UK to grow engineered solutions across markets. You will identify opportunities, build relationships with engineering and operations teams, and lead technical and commercial discussions to develop value-led proposals.
The role emphasizes consultative sales across long cycles (12–18 months) and requires travel with a flexible home/field based working arrangement.
We are recruiting on behalf of an established international engineering organisation that works with some of the world's leading industrial businesses. The company provides engineered products, systems and technical solutions designed to improve equipment reliability, reduce downtime and increase the performance and lifespan of critical industrial assets. As part of its continued development, the business is looking to appoint a Technical Sales Manager to grow its engineered solutions offering across the UK.
This is a commercially focused technical sales position, responsible for identifying and developing opportunities for automated lubrication, reliability and associated engineered solutions.
The role will be predominantly focused on new business development, while also leveraging an established customer network and internal relationships to identify opportunities within existing accounts. You will work closely with customers to understand operational and maintenance challenges before collaborating with internal technical teams to develop appropriate solutions.
This is a consultative sales role rather than transactional product selling. Opportunities range from relatively straightforward, shorter-cycle projects through to complex, multi-site solutions with sales cycles of up to 12-18 months, and the successful candidate will need to manage both effectively side by side.
We are looking for an experienced technical sales professional who can combine commercial drive with technical credibility. Ideally based centrally in the UK (for example the Midlands or South) to support nationwide travel.
You will ideally have:
Direct automated lubrication experience would be advantageous but is not essential.
We would also be interested in candidates with experience across areas such as:
Hydraulics | Fluid Power | Hydraulic Power Packs | Reliability Solutions | Asset Management | Industrial Maintenance | Engineered Mechanical Systems | Capital Equipment
Experience within sectors such as the following would be particularly relevant:
Metals | Pulp & Paper | Energy | Marine | Process Manufacturing | Food & Beverage
The priority is someone who understands demanding industrial environments and can credibly engage with customers around equipment performance, maintenance and reliability.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced technical salesperson who enjoys developing relationships, identifying complex customer problems and turning them into commercially valuable engineered solutions.
