Job summary

ACS Performance is seeking a field-based Technical Sales Engineer for UK travel. You will combine technical expertise with consultative sales to support lubrication and fluid management solutions across the UK industrial sectors.

You will develop long-term relationships, deliver technical presentations, and prepare quotations and product recommendations while maintaining CRM records and sales forecasts. A full UK driving licence is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in technical sales, application engineering, or industrial maintenance.
• Strong mechanical or engineering knowledge.
• Full UK Driving Licence and ability to travel throughout the UK.
• Advantageous: Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering qualification.
• Experience with lubricants, fluid management, or condition monitoring.

Responsibilities

• Develop and grow relationships with both new and existing industrial customers.
• Identify business opportunities through a consultative, solution-focused sales approach.
• Prepare quotations, technical proposals, and product recommendations.
• Deliver technical presentations, product demonstrations, and customer training.
• Conduct site surveys to identify equipment reliability and performance improvements.
• Recommend lubrication and fluid management solutions tailored to customer needs.
• Interpret oil analysis reports and provide practical recommendations.
• Support product trials, commissioning, and implementation activities.
• Investigate equipment issues and recommend corrective actions where required.
• Maintain accurate CRM records, sales forecasts, and pipeline activity.
• Identify opportunities to upsell and cross-sell products and services.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant Health & Safety procedures.

• A full UK Driving Licence and the flexibility to travel throughout the UK.

The following would be advantageous:

• A qualification in Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering.
• Experience with lubricants, fluid management, or condition monitoring.
• Previous experience within manufacturing, engineering, or heavy industry.
