Job summary

Vistry Group PLC is seeking a Technical Administrator in Exeter to support the Technical team with document control, drawings, and information management for multiple projects. You will ensure timely filing, retrieval, and adherence to Life of Site processes, working closely with site delivery teams and other departments.

The role requires IT literacy (Office 365), strong communication, and a proactive, detail‑oriented approach.

Qualifications

  • IT literate with Office 365 and good document control skills.
  • Proven experience in a similar administrative role within construction.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities for cross‑department liaison.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritise multiple contracts.
  • Flexible and proactive approach, able to support the wider team.

Responsibilities

  • Manage documents for multiple projects, ensuring proper naming and timely uploading.
  • Work within Life of Site procedures and associated forms.
  • Maintain knowledge of Viewpoint 4Projects at an operational level.
  • Ensure documentation follows approvals process and quality checks.
  • Distribute external documentation and support internal users with system issues.
  • Coordinate handovers with site delivery teams and support New Homes Quality Code.

As our Technical Administrator, you will work within the Technical team to provide a consistent and timely service to the team by ensuring that project information/drawings/documentation is managed, communicated, filed and retrievable in accordance with the Life of Site processes.We value in-person collaboration and team culture, but we’re also committed to supporting flexible working where possible.   • To be responsible for the management of documents for multiple projects, ensuring documents are named and uploaded in an accurate and timely manner.
  • Work with procedures, guidance and forms contained within the Life of Site processes.
  • Maintain knowledge and experience of Viewpoint 4Projects at an operational level.
  • Ensure documentation follows approvals process.
  • Carry out quality assurance checks on all information uploaded.
  • Ensure all documents are up to date and completed and named correctly prior to internal or external audits.
  • Ensure external documentation is identified and distributed as agreed.
  • Ensure all drawings / documentation are controlled and maintained in a methodical manner.
  • Support internal and external users regarding system issues
  • Liaise with site delivery teams regarding handover information / documentation.
  • Work with all procedures required under the New Homes Quality Code.
