Job summary

Vistry Group is seeking an experienced Site Manager for the Glenvale development in Wellingborough, Northamptonshire. You will oversee daily on-site operations, coordinate resources, drive health and safety, and deliver projects on time and within budget.

You will manage teams, liaise with contractors and customers, and uphold NHBC standards and building regulations while promoting collaboration and a safe working environment.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence
• Proven background in new build housing site management
• Proven ability to manage projects and deliver quality work on time and within budget
• Able to work as part of a team as well as autonomously
• Strong understanding of Health & Safety legislation
• Thorough, with strong attention to detail
• Strong time management skills and prioritisation
• Able to build productive stakeholder relationships and communicate at all levels
• Lead and develop others and mentor staff
• Comply with NHBC standards and building regulations

Responsibilities

• Oversee site operations to ensure adherence to specifications, timelines and budgets.
• Promote a safety culture and ensure health, safety and environmental regulations are met.
• Direct labour, equipment and resources to achieve project completion on time and within budget.
• Monitor project progress and address delays, risks or issues promptly.
• Conduct site inspections for quality, safety and progress.
• Coordinate with Buying and Surveying for timely procurement of materials and services.
• Manage site teams and implement corrective actions as needed.
• Attend weekly meetings with site sales executive.
• Ensure permits and inspections are in place.
• Lead site inductions for new personnel and subcontractors on safety procedures.

We have an exciting opportunity for a Site Manager to join our team within Vistry South East Midlands, on our Glenvale development in Wellingborough, Northamptonshire. As our Site Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of a construction site, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. You will manage teams, coordinate resources, enforce health and safety regulations, and liaise with contractors, suppliers, partners and customers.
